Hales CC's official Charity is 'Myeloma UK'.

In October 2014, club captain Jason Lowe was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which resulted in him having failed kidneys, anaemia and hypercalcaemia and was hours away from taking his life.

Jason (pictured on the left) is a well loved and well respected member of Hales Cricket Club and as such it is our honour to attempt to raise money for Myeloma UK, a charity that is researching the cure to this brutal disease.

Following a series of Chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, Jason has now been in remission since December 2015 and is now fighting fit thanks to work from both the NHS and Myeloma UK.

The least we can do is try to raise money for this charity so they can continue working on a cure to beat Myeloma completely.

Please take the time to visit the below website to donate to this cause and learn more about Myeloma.
